Ambarvale is a suburb of south-western Sydney in the state of New South Wales, Australia. It covers an area of 2.88 square kilometres and is located 55 kilometres south-west of the Sydney central business district within the local government area of Campbelltown. Being a part of the Macarthur region, it is predominantly residential along with a mix of private and public housing. According to the population census of 2016, it has a recorded population of 7,374 people and falls within the Australian Eastern Daylight Time zone Australia/Sydney.
